An HVAC company in Ontario doesn't compete in "Ontario". It competes in a ring of towns around its shop, and that ring looks very different in Vaughan than it does in Sudbury. HVACMarketingOntario.ca plans your marketing for the region you actually serve: its housing, its heating fuel, its growth and the competitors already ranking there. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor. We don't install, repair or service anything; we help the companies that do get more of the right calls.
Why Ontario needs a regional plan
Short answer: the province's numbers swing so much between regions that one campaign can't fit them all.
Look at how homes are heated. Statistics Canada reports that in 2023 natural gas was the primary heating energy for 58% of Ontario households. Inside that provincial figure, the Thunder Bay metro area sat at 81% and the Toronto metro area at 52%. A furnace-replacement campaign in Thunder Bay is speaking to most of the market; the same campaign in Toronto misses a large share of condo and electric-heat households.
Growth tells a similar story. Between the 2016 and 2021 censuses, Milton grew 20.7% and Brampton 10.6%, while Mississauga dipped slightly and Sault Ste. Marie shrank 1.8%. New subdivisions mean new-construction service plans and first replacements a decade later; mature cities mean ageing equipment and steady replacement work. Those are different offers, different keywords and different budgets.
What we do for Ontario HVAC companies
Short answer: five services, chosen and weighted by your region and season.
- Local SEO across Ontario service areas: map-pack visibility and honest town pages for the communities your trucks actually reach.
- Seasonal Google Ads: budgets that rise with the first cold snap and the first humid week, and fall away in the shoulder months.
- Heat pump and rebate marketing: accurate, dated pages about the Ontario programs your customers ask about.
- Websites for Ontario HVAC companies: fast, licence-aware sites with one obvious next step.
- Expansion planning: a numbers check before you open a second territory.
Working with a tight budget? The services overview ranks these by how fast each tends to pay back for a typical Ontario shop.
A worked example: what a lead is worth in your region
Short answer: work out your ceiling cost per booked job before you spend a dollar on ads.
Say your average furnace or heat pump replacement brings $4,000 in gross margin, and one in three qualified calls turns into a sold job. Each qualified call is then worth about $1,333 in margin to you. If you're willing to spend a quarter of the margin on marketing, your ceiling is roughly $333 per qualified call. In a crowded GTA suburb you may bump into that ceiling quickly; in Sudbury or Sarnia, fewer bidders usually leave more room. Run the same arithmetic with your own numbers, because it tells you which channels are worth trying in your part of the province.
The Ontario year, in four lines
Short answer: Ontario gives you two demand peaks and two planning windows, and the North stretches the heating peak.
- October to December: first cold nights, no-heat calls and furnace replacements. Southern budgets peak here; in the North the heating season runs longer at both ends.
- January to March: emergency volume stays high, and owners who limped through December start shopping for replacements.
- April to June: the window for heat pump quotes and rebate-driven replacements before cooling season.
- July to September: air-conditioning failures in humid southern weeks, then maintenance bookings ahead of fall.
Our Ontario marketing calendar guide turns this into a month-by-month budget split.
How the work runs
Short answer: a free review, a regional plan, then monthly work you can judge by booked jobs.
- Seven-day review. We look at your website, Google Business Profile, search visibility and the Ontario competitors appearing for your services. No credit card.
- A plan for your territory. We pick the towns, services and seasons to focus on, and say what we would measure.
- Monthly delivery and reporting. You see calls, booked jobs and cost per job by region, not vanity charts.

Where we work
Frequently asked questions
What is HVACMarketingOntario.ca?
HVACMarketingOntario.ca is a Canadian marketing and business consulting service for Ontario HVAC, heating and cooling companies, run by Sedighi.ca and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. We plan and run marketing; we never install, repair or service equipment.
Do you only work with companies in Toronto?
No. We plan for the whole province, including Ottawa, Hamilton, London and Southwestern Ontario, Niagara and Northern Ontario. Each region has its own page here explaining the housing mix, heating data and competition we plan around.
How much does it cost?
Our Starter plan is $2,998 per month, Growth is $4,498 and Elite is $8,998; a new website begins at $3,500 as a one-time project. All prices are Canadian dollars, plus 13% HST for Ontario clients.
Is there a long contract?
No lock-in. Most owners start with the 7-day free trial, which needs no credit card, and decide afterwards whether a monthly plan is worth it for their region.
Can you promise us the top spot on Google in our city?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We can promise a clear plan, honest reporting and work aimed at the searches that bring paying jobs in your territory.
Where are you based?
We are part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and we work with HVAC companies across Canada. Ontario owners can meet us in person or by video call, or use phone, text and email, and we plan with regional data rather than guesswork.
